DECaLS DR5 residuals
The feature at 1.30 may be a background galaxy

There may be some hints of tidal trails:

I don't know. Put in Objects that need more research?

VSTKIDS gri image. That blob at 4 o'clock turned out nicely magenta-ish. Can't say I see jet-like features or the such.

Funny, the blob in my VSTKIDS gri image became paler than yours, so I must be doing something wrong π But since the object looks so colourless in SDSS, I suppose one could hardly expect it to be anything exciting, like...you can guess what I'm thinking of π

A.... starburst dwarf satellite galaxy? π
Nah nothing wrong. I think there are 2 ways of displaying color image cutouts; static JPGβs (SDSS and DECaLS) and adaptive cutouts ( GAMA images from PSI, Pannstarrs and IRSA WISE). The first kind only changes arcsec/ pixel when zooming in / out, works great for showing large areas of the survey. Second kind I believe creates the image on the spot and executes transformations to balance out the whole picture (or something like that). Thatβs why a bright source in PS1 in the frame is so annoying, it blurs out everything else. Solutions are zooming in until the bright source is no longer in the frame or manually change the balance in the URL.
Iβm guessing your image is zoomed out further?

You're right, it was. It actually covered the whole of this space when I posted it, so I deleted it. I haven't learnt how to zoom in or to change the size of the images (yet) π
