    We see it from above with our position slightly to the left of head on. The galactic center is obvious but not large; bright but not dominant. It is as though it was very young and had only recently begun to think of itself as galaxy. Two spiral arms, tightly wound. Although only two arms are visible in this picture, I am guessing that it has five arms and is about the same age as the Milky Way galaxy. Note that the center of the galaxy is a little off-center with more extension on one side than the other and that the galaxy is oval, not round.
