Very irregular shaped 'spiral'

This galaxy struck me as odd - my first though is that it might be the aftereffects of a merger perhaps? It seems to me as though it might be that one galaxy has been torn apart pretty much, all its spiral feature dispersed, while the other, probably size dominant one still has a little of its 'spiral' remaining
