jets from galaxy

  Two red streaks of matter appear to emanating from the center of this galaxy. The streaks look lumpy and start to fade about the distance of the galaxy's diameter. If this is real and not an artifact of something else it could be very interesting.

  Interesting that the #jets are so prominent compared with galaxy's smooth structure.

  I would have thought that at that magnification a satellite trail would be far more distinct.

  It depends on the satellite and how much light it reflects
