new to this but different from previous photos

    first initial reaction was the yellow tint in the photo. Inverted, the photo shows (from my limited knowledge regarding this) what looks like a heat source at the center.

    #poorqualityimage - I think something went wrong imaging this (maybe a meteorological error!)
    The central blue colour is almost certainly not real - the red just got spread out from the middle. Usually galaxies tend to have redder cores than edges, and you wouldn't expect other nearby objects to have the same kind of properties. Plus if you click through to the SDSS explorer pages you can see the background everywhere is quite poor quality. Thanks for raising this - it helps us clean up our sample to get the best science out at the end.
