Hubble pic

  • jtheory by jtheory

its usually difficult to depict what the Hubble images tell me because of pixels but occasionally i come across more clear images. Would it be more accurate to say with this that it is mainly stars? What i cannot be sure about is the cloudy grey blotches that appear regularly on Hubble images.

I see two stars in a field of mostly galaxies, but the central "object" in the image looks like part of the diffraction spike from the brighter of the two stars. So I'd classify this as an #artifact and wait to classify the galaxies I see until I got an image with them at the center of the image.
