Why is this image displayed for classification, though DR8 says STAR! It is one of the images from the #scarffield.

That is exactly why we are classificating the pictures. If there was a program that could choose galaxies only we would be so out of the job. Good hunting

As far as I know, the objects, which are labeled as stars, actually weren't selected for classification, just the objects, which are labeled as galaxies in DR8. There are also stars, which are wrongly labeled as galaxies in DR8.

That is how I understood it too. Perhaps some of them slipped through the mazes?
