Uncommonly Bright Nucleus

  The nucleus of this galaxy appears uncommonly bright to me in this image - so much so that in isolation, given it's sharp definition and a hint of an overexposure artifact, I'd have interpreted it as a star. Could this be a #quasar or am I being fanciful? #questions

  There also appear to be a well formed #ring feature
