Appears to be a spiral edge-on merging with a spiral seen face-on.

Could be a merger, could also be an overlap. Just give it your best shot ! Great pic anyway !

I got so used to clicking, round, cigar shaped, nothing strange, next, that I almost. I'd like to see it blown way up. Maybe it would become more apparent if it's an overlap.

Ned gives the blue galaxy as a loose spiral, i would have classified as an irregular, both galaxies are a pair so there is some interaction

I think #merger. The centered galaxy seems to be an #blue #irregular #ring with #starforming action, the other is a #spiral galaxy with #AGN
