    Is that an optical effect, the line across the axis, or is it the result of a merger, tidal debris. Galaxy itself doesn't seem to be disturbed though.

    I could be a polar-ring but these distant hubbles are difficult to make out. There is a better view of a polar-ring i came across its in the 'featured' area

    I do not know... It seems to have an #AGN. Supermassive #blackhole generating a double jets ?

    AGZ0000cic & AGZ00009or (mag 18 & 17) have this artifact at the same angle in both images.
