What a Beautiful Edge-On Galaxy.

This galaxy has a boxy bulge (whatever that is caused by. Does anyone know?). It obviously is close and apparently doesn't have a number or name yet. But look at the thin central dust lane. No blue stars, no jets from a central black hole, if it has one. So must be old?

Beautiful edge on spiral or disk galaxy containinng millions and millions of stars and a lovely dustlane.
