Luminous blue star? Planetary nebula? Irregular?

  The wider Skyview image shows a really stunning image, but I'm not sure what it is. There also seems to be a ?merger and a gas cloud? associated with it. Exciting and beautiful stuff.
  Can anyone help please? Could someone please post the image here as I don't seem to be able to do so? Thanks very much. Edit: to see the ?merger you may need to resize, zooming out one or two more levels in order to see the whole thing.
