Greenish-Blue Artifact

  Am I seeing an artifact of the instrument in this image? There appear to be striations in the greenish-blue nebula. I can't say I have seen something like this before. Does anyone have any ideas?

  The greenish/blue glow is an optical artifact caused by a brigt star just outside this image.
