Nebula or ...?
-
Initially I thought that the wispy object could be a cloud or an artifact. However, zooming out using the Navigate tool in the SkyServer shows what seems to be a nebula. Or is it a molecular cloud? Anyone knows the name of this object?
Can anyone tell how to get the URL of an image being viewed in the Navigate tool? I tried the "View Image" option in the context menu of my browser (Firefox 16.0.1) but I get only the image of the green square.

elizabeth,
You are referring to the central object, right? It could be a star but lacks the diffraction spikes that the other nearby bright stars possess. But then that could be because of less light coming from the central one because of the nebula in front of it. Not sure.
My question was about the large cloud-like objects in the zoomed-out image. Here is the image
Searching for it using the RA and DEC. Haven't located it yet.
