Yes, it is more likely to be a nuclear ring.

But this nuclear ring has a strange blue lensy look to it. Maybe nuclear rings can get very rolled around and diffuse-looking, and not have a clumpy appearance.
It is unlikely to be a lens, because spirals are usually too small. But let's not eliminate it right away.Posted
