the colour of this galaxy

  any opinions out there on what is going on here? is it a large elliptical full of hot green stars and what about those with a red nucleus.
  Very pretty dont you think.

  This is is actually a star from our galaxy. While imaging this region of space something went very wrong with the imaging. The colors and centers are all optical artifacts.
  But very cool indeed ! 😃
