  #Voorwerpje? Ionising gas cloud? If it is a star it looks like it will have to be a background one?

  Agree with star forming area !
  And it can never be a background star ! All the individual stars we can see are stars from our galaxy. So any star we see in relation to a galaxy will always be a foreground star !
