MRK 0327 or star

The elliptical to the left is classified as Markarian but other than what looks like a star in front of it I can see no signs of any kind of UV or any thing else that would classify it as Markarian. Could they have mistaken the star as the nucleus? Thoughts?

I looked at it on FITS data and the star and the galaxy show separate uv signatures. I think it is a galaxy with a star in foreground

The star isnt registered in NED. this is why I think thy might have mistaken the emissions of the star as the nucleus of the elliptical and classified it as a Markarian.
