Is the small blob in the upper left a small companion galaxy

The small blob could be a small companion galaxy like our own Magellanic clouds. It looks to be separate from the spiral arm. The bottom left also has a small blob which may be part of the spiral arm or an other companion galaxy. I have seen several other similar pictures in the many thousand I have classified and it seems a shame just to put it in the other department.
