How far away is this?

Hello everybody,
we are new to galaxy zoo, and were wondering if it's possible to find more information out about the galaxies we view?

Try clicking on "open in galaxy zoo examine" and the clicking through to Skyserver. That contains lots of information, including whether the redshift of the galaxy has been measured (and from that a possible inference of distance). However the information is rather dense!

I just checked through with this one... The redshift hasn't been measured for this object (I looked on the NED search) so no way of knowing how far it is I'm afraid. Keep looking though, and happy classifying!
