Meeting of equals?

Would like to know what is going on here. Am assuming that we see two similar size galaxies about to become one somewhat more massive one! Or is it not as simple as that? Looks beautiful whatever's happening.

Myślę,że jest to fuzja galaktyki spiralnej z galaktyką eliptyczna obraz jest nie ostry, ale widać harakterystyczne smugi materii jak przy galaktyce spiralnej i regularne skupiska gwiazd jak przy galaktyce eliptycznej.

I'd probably go for two spiral galaxies interacting ! But hey, it is your classification ! 😄
