Very Faint Arc

In the upper right hand corner of this image, there is an arc from gravitational lensing, or at least that what it looks like.
Also, there is either a large supernovae on the left and/or right of the galaxy, or it is a lovely example of background galaxies.
A lovely image, indeed.

Just had a look at this on skyserver - I'm afraid the lensing top right looks more likely to be an optical artefact.
The smaller clumps to the left and right may be superimposed objects or smaller satellite galaxies.Posted
