Jets coming out of object

In the galaxy itself, I see three reddish blobs. Are they background stars/galaxies? And then, to the left and going upward to the right are four objects. Are they background stars/galaxies? Finally, the brightest object in the image, in the upper right quadrant, appears to have jets shooting out from about 11 o'clock and opposite 5 o'clock. What is that? Thanks.
