Foreground star or something in galaxy?

  What is object just below the center of this galaxy but still within the leftward arm? (I see the blue star just to the right).

  Sorry to burst in on this discussion! Please HELP. The classify isn't working again. I and many others have been unable to use it after logging in. I at last got in tonight without logging in! and now it has frozen again. Please see if it can be fixed and see page 2 as there are others wanting help with it too. Many thanks.
