    j,

    AGZ00024pk - stars.

    CANDELS images

The images are 'sanitized' and made uniform by a 'smoothing' program.
This takes away 'distracting' pixel noise and creates a palette of
    'greyscale'-like monochromatic hues.

With this set of restrictions on a medium sized target object we can
'focus' on the shape - supposedly. When targets are small, the pixel
noise ratio rises. Stars are an example of targets that are too bright.

When you have had an ample dose of unobscured targets, in clean
areas without noise, those shapes will come to mind - based on color.
We have a set of classification shapes. Either try to match a standardized
shape from the set or select artifact. The rest is statistics. Be glad you
    don't have that job.

    Happy hunting
