the bright object in the lower edge looks like an explosion for me... Maybe a supernova?

That is a star from our own galaxy - it looks so strange because its brightness overwhelmed the camera. http://tinyurl.com/pbo34r2

looks like a sun and its rays are hitting a galaxy.
