Beginner question :)

Hi all, I am a complete beginner so please forgive me if I'm asking something really obvious or simple or whatever.
In this image there appears to bed a large stellar object on the top right of this galaxy, perhaps interacting with the galaxy or perhaps just in our field of view.
what I am wondering, if this galaxy is like our own milky way, ie several hundred thousand light years across and full of billions of stars of all shapes and sizes, then is the large object I am talking about a super, super, super gigantic star like one of those inconceivably big ones we see in the cool little star size comparison videos ? 😃
Hope that all makes sense!

The bright white object is a foreground star from our galaxy. So it is a lot smaller than the central object that is a galaxy so much further away !.
