What is going on with the nucleus? Off center and red.

  SDSS only shows 1 photometric object, centered on the overall galaxy. HED has no entries. At this level of graininess, I would expect a star to be more distinct. But the big red spot is too off center to be the actual core of the galaxy. Any ideas?
