What is the more defined object?

The galaxy to the left seems to be of irregular shape, but the object on the right seems to be much closer. I'm assuming it is a fore front star?

I think you are right, but when I am classifying, I classify the object at the frame center. In this case, the comma-shaped blob. I wish one could look at the NED data base before starting the classification.

You are correct : ALWAYS classify the object in the center of the image. 😄
And the one to the right is indeed a foreground star from our galaxy.
