New Galactic Object

  This appears to be another set of two elliptical galaxies merging. This is the second elliptical galaxy merger I found and this one appears to have material being pulled out of the first galaxy by the gravitational attraction of the second galaxy.

  I think the small galaxy is farther than the big one. The tidal tale is an artifact. But that is me.

  That might not be a bad idea, Wrenchman. I'll have to keep that in mind. However, how do you explain the material that is being pulled off the galaxy in the center of the picture?
