Definitely not a lens. The white object is a foreground star from our galaxy. The curved object is a disturbed edge on

Yes, it looks as if the light coming from the galaxy has been distorted.

The 'arc' is in fact a disturbed edge on galaxy. The white round object is a foreground star from our galaxy. No lensing here, sorry.
