Mystery Overlap

  Does anyone have any ideas of what this orange-tinged oval is that appears to be overlapping the elliptical? It doesn't look like another elliptical. It seems blurred or smudged.

  I think sometimes the filters aren't quite right, and perhaps two overlapping objects (as this appears to be) confuses the camera. Looks like two ellipticals to me, but there have been a lot of disappointing fuzzy blobs tonight
