Blue thing

I'm not really an expert so I was just wondering what the blue thing next to the galaxy is

It appears to be another galaxy. It is not a foreground star because there are no image artifacts from over exposer. Either it is very close or very active (either the black hole or star formation), due to its blueness.

I'm sorry but you're wrong. This is a foregroundstar from our galaxy with the "fitting" optical artifacts.
