Little Help Please

I posted this on the general chat board as well:

I can't figure out what the object at 9 o'clock really is. It looks like a potential dwarf, but in Skyserver definitely seems to be tied somehow to the main galaxy. Any ideas or insights would be greatly appreciated!

I'd go for either an irregular with a star forming region. Or an edge on with a star forming clump at one end. I don't think it is connected to the central galaxy, but I could be wrong. 😄

For what it's worth, I basically agree with ElisabethB, but would label it a very loose spiral rather than a true edge on. I see just the beginning of a spiral.

Hey, that is the beauty of this project. 😄

Every opinion counts and the fact that people differ on classifications will alert the science team that there is something very special (or very fuzzy ! ;-D ).
