Curious about an object

    Hello,

    I got curious about the strange ring-like green object at around 4 o'clock position. I haven't seen anything like it until now. What could it be?

    Hi Ranchi,

    This is an infrared image. Here you get the image in the optical (rotated).

    You can see that the ring in in the infrared image is actually a foreground star from our galaxy (the red dot). The appearance of a the ring is an optical artifact.
