AGZ0007n96 - image with no Red channel? How common are they?

The title says it all: this JPG image seems to be lacking an R (red) channel. Is that just my impression? If not, how common is it for UKIDSS images, here in GZ, to lack R?

Actually, it does have an R channel ... but the (RGB) pixel values are dominated by the G and B channels. IOW (in other words), this galaxy (or rather, image) is dominated by light mapped to the G and B channels.
It's an odd galaxy; in SDSS it looks pretty much like an other z~0.08 elliptical, but the spectroscopic pipeline classifies it as STARFORMING, on the basis of its strong emission lines. However, the continuum seems rather red (per its apparent color), and it has a quite prominent 400nm break:
So the downturn in the most red of the UKIDSS bands (which is, what, k? j?) implies a rather strange SED, does it not?
