classify

I classified this one as cigar shaped and noted the dust curl below. Is that right? I am curious as to what that is under the galaxy. Thanks

I see a very loose, two-armed spiral. Or a disturbed edge on.

The small one at the bottom is also a spiral galaxy.

They both appear distorted so an ongoing merger is definitely a possibility.

does the swirl feature at the 6 o'clock position belong to the same Galaxy? Looks like a break off feature to me.

This is a #starforming #redgalaxy with a big bar feature and 2 loose spiral arms. the "feature" at 6 o clock is an unrelated spiral galaxy.
