Wierd looking center and spiral arms

I would say this galaxy has spiral arms, but i cant decide how many there might be. Also, what could cause the center to be so distinct and differently colored?

It is CGCG 118-036, a Seyfert 2 galaxy. Which means it has a very active nucleus. And it is indeed a spiral. I xould go for two arms (but that is just me 😄 )
