Needed explanation of this image

This appears as either 2 large galaxies very close in proximity, one of which has a blue glow, while the other appears in the reddish spectrum. However, one of them I feel might be a star which is just close to the path of the light from the galaxy. Quite confusing. Any suggestions?

Hi nkrastev and welcome to the Zoo
The central object is indeed a fuzzy galaxy. The bight blue one is a foreground star from our galaxy.
Happy hunting !

Thank you, Elisabeth. After your comment I went on to discover that blue stars actually are some of the hottest stars around. Thanks for the enlightenment 😃
