  That does look pretty - obviously on the edge of the SDSS survey though…. A pity.

  Correction, it is not at the edge of the survey, just the edge of an image (click through Galaxy Zoo examine to the SDSS skyerver image). Thanks for pointing it out. I'll look into it.

  OK, so with thanks to Ed Edmondson and Jordan Raddick for technical help - this galaxy is at the edge of an SDSS field, but not at the edge of the data (try this link to see the field edges overlayed: http://skyserver.sdss3.org/dr8/en/tools/chart/chart.asp?ra=153.45618&dec=3.4233&scale=0.7922&opt=F&width=512&height=512). It seems this happens to a tiny fraction of the Galaxy Zoo galaxies because of the way we construct the images to use on the website.
