What is on the right side of the picture?

It's a bright star, in our own galaxy (the Milky Way).
It's right on the edge of the field of view of the SDSS camera; the two rainbow spikes (like compass points) are 'diffraction spikes', caused by the supports of the secondary mirror in the SDSS telescope (they are especially clean examples!).
