Ring ? Polar ring ?

  There certainly seems to be something faint and diffuse ... but is it a ring (polar or not)? Or a pair of fairly loose, disturbed arms? Or some kind of tidal stream? (or a combination?) In any case, this seems to be a disk galaxy, not an elliptical; it's also 'red'. A red spiral with arms like this? Or a red merger? Both pretty unusual, I would think ...
