  Could this be a possibly #barred spiral galaxy seen edge-on? I have seen a couple of these before where the ends are slightly curved.

  If you see a disk or a spiral edge on it is not possible to see if there is a bar.Here you have a spiral seen at a very slight angle. Hence the curved ends.

  One way to tell if an edge on galaxy has a bar to to look at the shape of the bulge at the center - 'X-shaped'or 'Boxy' bulges tend to indicate strong bars, but as Els said you can't see the bar itself 😃

  This one does not have a x-shaped bulge.
