smooth??

  I´m really confused here.. have anyone seen this type of galaxy yet?

  Large spherical halo? It is too far away to be sure. I would say that we are seeing a spiral from edge-on. #edgeon There seems to be a moderate galactic bulge, as shown by the brightness of the nucleus. It seems to have a very large spherical halo of stars. I will ask a scientist to check up on me here.

  It is quite red from being seen edge-on, the dust must make the galaxy look red.
