donuts!

okay i can see it is an artfact, but is the kind of donut on the foreground normal?
when i go to the galaxy zoo examine, i can see many and many donuts like that... lightning effect or something like that, exact?

They are all artifacts cause by filter / imaging errors. Have you had a read of this thread here ? It has a lot more information on some of the more common artifacts you may encounter 😃
