Would this be two smooth rounded galaxies nearby?

Maybe they seem close from our perspective but are actually distant. What does the visible light intensity of the photograph say in that regard?

It is certainly a smooth or elliptical galaxy directly at the center, the other orange object (close to the galaxy) is most likely a foreground star. SkyServer has it flagged as such. The blue object is certainly a star.
Don't forget - you must only classify the object directly at the center! It is fine to talk about all the other objects here on Talk 😃
