red dot trail

What´s the red dot trail that seems to be coming off the top arm? is it an asteroid trail?

If an asteroid has separate images on the same tile, it's always in multiple colors of red, green, blue.

These aren't artifacts because they show up in the r, i and z raw images. Could be faint stars? Five... faint stars... in a really coincidental random pattern? 😃

    Could be a lens glare

Nope, I'd go for a chance alignment of foreground stars from our galaxy ! 😄

I thought it might be an asteroid, but I saw in a different discussion on asteroids, that they do show up in green, blue and red. Considering these dots are all red, I assume they could be stars that are aligned in an almost perfect manner. Space is so vast, maybe to us it seems eerie, coincidental, or lucky; but im sure its incredibly common for stars, planets, and even galaxies to align perfectly.

I think distant galaxies, but it is hard to tell the difference between distant red galaxies, and red dwarf stars. But a coincidence.
