Straight line

    So what's going on here? Couple of clumps neatly lined in a row (ignoring the small detached clump to the left).
    And a similar structure to the left, but going out of the frame, so it's hard to tell what's going on there.

    I guess there are 3 galaxies near the center of this picture, 2 bright and 1 much dimmer galaxy to the left of the pair, and 2 other galaxies in the center below. The line up is probably accidental.

    Could be, but sometimes galaxies are in straight lines due to the cosmic web, the structure of the universe. Or it could be as the result of a past galaxy collision, drawing a line of stars out of a galaxy.
