Hi, I'm quite new to this and not feeling to confident in my identification of this as it is quite faint. Is it an artifact or faint star cluster ?

Hi Valaquesse and welcome to the Zoo
Yes, these fainter images are not always easy to classify. But don't worry. Just answer the questions as well as you can.
Here I would go with a very faint and fuzzy spiral galaxy with two arms and probably disturbed..
Happy hunting ! 😄
Hi and welcome @Valaquesse 😃
This is a galaxy viewed in the 'u (or ultraviolet) filter. These images can be difficult to classify and you may not be able to discern many features - just give it your best shot and remember there is no wrong answer. The image will also be classified by multiple people, and the answer will be based on mass consensus, so just enjoy classifying the images 😃
As for this particular galaxy, I would say it has spiral features and possibly a bar. There is not much else I can tell from this image alone.
Here is the 3-filter colour image - quite a difference!
