Star or Galaxy

  this looks like a star but if it's a galaxy the center is extremely large and bright.

  You are correct. This is most definitely a star from our galaxy. But the colors are not real. Lots of imaging and filter problems in this image.
  
  
  Just classify as star/artifact.
